With our OptoTech Correction Technology (OCT) the dressing of the polishing tool happens right in the CNC machine on a second spindle that carries the forming tool. The key advantage of this technique is the direct correction of the polishing tool by means of the measured surface irregularity of the workpiece. The form differences can be measured with an extern measuring system and directly passed to the machine. So the calculation of the correction data for the following polishing process  comes directly from the error list, so the polishing tool can be prepared appropriately.
