A simple idea from Jens Müller and his team promotes sustainability in the Sinter Metals business unit

When you enter the halls of Schunk Sinter Metals in Heuchelheim, you can hardly miss them: Red containers pasted with pictures of sandy beaches and fancy cars. The contents: scrap produced in production that has to be disposed of every month. But what does that have to do with the Maldives or an Aston Martin?

That's what Lukas Welcker explains. He works as a lean project manager in the Sinter Metals business unit. In the video, he presents an employee idea that has not only brought the value of scrap into focus, but also into the consciousness of the entire Sinter team:
