We are thrilled to announce the appointment of our new managing director Michael Feinberg, who will oversee the precision optics business in the North American Region. With many years of experience in the market and senior positions in Sales and Marketing in American manufacturing companies, Michael brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in driving growth and innovation.
Relocation and New Application Lab
We are also embarking on a significant new journey with the relocation of our facilities in Palm, PA to a new location near Boston. The new site will enable us to better connect with our customers as it is in a more convenient location. In addition, we will be starting the setup of a new applications lab. This new lab will improve our ability to create sample products to show off the latest techniques in grinding, centering and polishing. This will give clients confidence that an investment in an OptoTech machine is an investment in success for the next generation optical component production. Finally, the completed new location and applications lab will foster further growth of our most popular platforms and enable us to better serve our customers with shorter lead times and faster support response.
As we transition to the new phase, there is a short term impact on our spare parts availability, as some might have a longer lead time than usual. We would like to encourage you to get in touch with us right away if you think you will need certain parts urgently in the middle of June. We will make sure to set the parts aside so that we can access them in a timely manner.
